Highschool DxD Season 5 is a fairly popular season etched in the completely wooed audience's mind. There are a few reasons why this anime is in demand. Under the adult drawings and straightforward scenario, there are sweet little stories in this anime that hooks you. You see strange ways the characters use to activate their powers. You also witness anger, wrath, and family values. The fourth season, in general, was a level down than the three seasons because of the change in animation and voice. People didn't feel the essence of the series in the fourth season. This is why Highschool DxD Season 5 becomes even more expecting.
Highschool DxD is a Japanese supernatural comic anime with a focus on the harem. It is written by Ichiei Ishibumi . TNK adapted the light novel series into anime and aired it on AT-X in 2012. It is set in Kuoh Academy which was an all-girls school initially but later on became co-ed. Along with humans, angels, and devils are also part of students. Issei Hyodo is a lecherous student and goes on a date with a disguised fallen angel, Yuma Amano. On their date, she tries to kill him but Rias Gremory,a devil, revives him. However, in the process of resuscitation, he also becomes a devil and her faithful servant.
The Premise of Highschool DxD Season 5
In the previous four seasons, we have seen Issie and Rias' growing relationship to be a thorn for the angels and the devils. We saw them growing stronger with each passing season. They have emerged successful in various tests.
In season 5, we will see Hero Oppai Dragon Arc. We saw the initial stages in the fourth season. We see the arc plot in the 9th and 10th volumes. So, if you like to read, you can read the manga and form your spoilers. We can also see volume 11 and 12 in Highschool DxD Season 5.

Release date of Highschool DxD Season 5
The fifth season is delayed, one reason is the COVID-19 outbreak. However, there is another reason too. The fourth season premiered in 2018 and the makers wanted to premiere the fifth season in 2020. The show's delay also pertains to the change of production studio. A new studio will take care of the season's production and that is causing the technical delay.
We have not heard any news about the show's development. So, we can base our assumption on the release date to be in 2021. But, we will also expect the show to come back with its original style and display.
