Sylvan Esso Tickets Durham Performing Arts Center November 22

Sylvan Esso has announced a unique, new tour called "WITH" slated for November 2019. Through six shows in four select cities, the group will present their music like never before; collaborating with 8 of their favorite musicians in a live ensemble to create an experience that is wholly exceptional. The shows will take place in iconic venues across the country, ending in their hometown at DPAC on FridayNovember 22 & Saturday November 23, 2019. Molly Sarlé (of Mountain Man) is set to be the special guest at both DPAC performances.

The duo's 2017 album, What Now , showcased the band continuing to evolve sonically and lyrically, and positioned themselves at the helm of pioneering pop. Receiving overall critical acclaim, NPR said "What Now is about surrendering your inhibitions in order to make room for forces bigger than yourself: sound that inspires movement, vulnerability that inspires reflection, love that inspires awe," and The New York Times proclaimed "Sylvan Esso keeps pop human." The album was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic album at the 2018 GRAMMY®s.

Age Requirement

Please note that all guests require a ticket, regardless of age. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed at this performance. Children must be able to sit quietly in their own seat without disturbing other guests.

Camera Policy

Photography is allowed at this event; however flash photography is not permitted.  We ask that you be courteous to guests behind you and know that any obtrusive use or persistent video recording will not be allowed. GoPro's, iPad's, and cameras with detachable lenses are also not allowed at DPAC.

Safety First - Bag Check

For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection before entry. This inspection may include the use of metal detectors. Restricted items include, but are not limited to, Alcohol, Cameras, Glass Bottles, and Weapons of any kind. In addition, we will also now restrict backpacks and any oversized bags larger than 12 inches x 12 inches x 10 inches (about the size of a standard milk crate). Safety first is our goal. Video Screens

For many concert, comedy, and special events at DPAC, we offer added views of the stage with two big screens (size: 16' x 9') hung to the sides of the stage or above the stage. These big screens can add to the visual experience of our concert, comedy, and special events and give guests seated farther from the stage what we like to call "a tenth row view". Approval to use these screens always rests with the visiting show and about half of all concert and comedy events do use these screens.
